Angolan Crude Oil
Angola produces 9 types of crude grades, including; Cabinda Crude, Girassol Crude Oil, Hungo Blend Crude Oil, Kissanje Blend Crude Oil, Kuito Crude, Nemba Crude, Palanca Crude, Xicomba, and Dalia Blend Crude Oil
Intermediate Crude
Cabinda Blend: It has medium viscosity and low sulfur content (32.0o API and 0.12% sulfur), the majority of its production is exported to China.
Dalia: Crude of medium viscosity, sweet (23.65º API and 0.49% sulfur), and semi-acidic (1.56mg KOH/g).
Girassol: It's the crude of medium viscosity and low sulfur content (API 30.8º and 0.34% sulfur). This blend is made of oil from fields Girassol and Jasmin.
Hungo: It's the crude of medium viscosity and semi-sweet crude (28.5º API and 0.71% sulfur). This crude is made of production from oil fields Hungo and Chocalho on Block 15.
Kissanje Blend: It's the crude of medium viscosity and medium sulfur content (28.2º API and 0.44% sulfur).
Heavy Crude
Kuito: It's the crude of high viscosity and with medium content of sulfur (19º API and 0.68% sulfur), acidity (2.1 mg KOH/g). This crude is produced on Block 14.
Light Crude
Nemba: Its the crude of low viscosity and low sulfur content (38.7º API and 0.19% sulfur), produced in Block 0 which is located in Malongo, and Cabinda.
Palanca blend: Crude with low density and low sulfur content (37.2º API and 0.18% sulfur), this blend is made of 5 oil fields.
Xicomba: Very fluid and sweet crude (34.8º API and 0.39% sulfur) produced in Block 15. Fully exported to the U.S.
